About Major General Gale Pollock

Major General Gale Pollock is a retired United States Army major general who served as Executive Director, Fox Center for Vision Restoration, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to that, she served as the Acting Surgeon General of the Army Medical Department and also as chief of the Army Nurse Corps. Today, she helps blinded veterans see. Major General Gale Pollock retired as a two-star general after a 36-year career.
