eSight Return Policy

All capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Returns Policy will have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Service. Any returns of products covered by this Returns Policy will be accepted only to the extent that such products were purchased directly from Gentex Corporation, and are subject to the following requirements:

1. Returns will not be accepted unless you obtain a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) issued by us. You can obtain an RMA by contacting us and providing information we reasonably request, which may include: (a) your name, address, email address, and telephone number; (b) a copy of your receipt, bill of sale, or other comparable proof of purchase for the defective product; (c) a written description of the problem; (d) a picture of the defective product that includes the serial number; and (e) date of purchase. An RMA will not be issued for any Limited Warranty Exclusion (see our Warranty Terms for more detail).

2. eSight, including accessories, that is returned should be: (a) in the original packaging; (b) undamaged and in working order; and (c) have been delivered to you recently.

3. Gentex’s Return Policy does not cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents. Returning any products to Gentex that are damaged may result in (a) you incurring additional charges or (b) the denial of your return request.  You are responsible for all transportation and shipment of any returned products.  You bear the risk of loss or damage during shipment (other than when returning non-conforming goods) and as such, you are advised to obtain appropriate insurance.

4. Once any returned products are received and accepted by us, we will refund you the purchase price, less the original shipping & handling charges and any applicable restocking fee. All returns of eSight (including all of the accessories), except those returned as part of the Home Experience program (as described in the eSight Home Experience Terms), are subject to a two hundred fifty ($250) USD restocking fee, which may be waived by Gentex at its sole discretion (e.g., if the return is due to a defective product).

5. If any individual accessory is damaged or not in working order, Gentex may charge you additional charges and fees up to the full amount of replacing the missing accessory, not to exceed one hundred and fifty-three dollars ($153) per accessory.

6. Any refund for accepted returns will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the applicable purchase. Similarly, any fees or additional charges will be charged or invoiced via the same payment method used to make the original purchase.  If the original purchase payment method provided by you cannot be verified, is invalid or is otherwise not acceptable, your return may be suspended or cancelled.

7. We will use reasonable efforts to refund you within 7 to 10 business days after we have processed your return, but we do not guarantee such timing as delays may result from causes outside of our control (e.g., bank delays or holidays).
